Mooloolaba Beach, Canals and Harbour

One of the most amazing attractions of every region of the Sunshine Coast is nature itself and the beautiful natural environment. The Sunshine Coast is home to a diverse collection of pristine beaches. Each beach has different features and the surrounding regions have their own distinct personalities. Mooloolaba Beach has a temperate and sunny climate year round that serves to enhance the scenic beauty. The waters are crystal clear and sand is white. The patrolled beach faces north-east, which promotes gentle waves all the way up to large waves, depending upon where you are on the beach. This makes the Mooloolaba safe for swimming, learning to surf and also great for experienced surfers. Mooloolaba also has a calm harbour and many intricate canals that make up the mouth of the river, which is an excellent location for fishing or just relaxing. On the horizon, you can see Mount Coolum, a beautiful flat-topped volcanic mountain.
